8/30/2012 Nom Nom Nom

The past week in pictures.

Took Natalia to her first high school football game. She loved it. It was so cute to see her get so excited over everything.
Daddy's new desk was assembled the Saturday before with the help of Uncle Brent. Here are Natalia and Daddy hanging out Monday morning.

Gave Natalia a driving lesson on Labor Day.

She did pretty well. We'll have to work on parallel parking for 15 more years.

Then we went to the Siddoways to cut grass and such.
Any resemblance?
Went for a walk to the cemetery that night and saw deer in someone's yard.

We are now insured so we made up Natalia's 4-month check-up. Later we went to the dentist for my check-up. I thought Natalia would be fine in her car seat. She cried 94% of the time. The receptionist tried holding her, but she cried even more. They put her on my lap while my teeth were being cleaned, still not happy. Never doing that again.

Natalia was zonked out after our day of appointments. That night we went to the viewing of her great-grandmother, Josh's grandma.

Yesterday we attended her funeral in Bountiful and then drove to Hooper where she would be buried.

Snapped a family photo.

The  wittle baby cousins
We will miss her.

Then to end the day, Natalia and I went swimming with the scouts for Activity Days. Natalia did very well for her first time in a pool. The water was even a little cold, but she was fine with her momma.

We took Natalia to her first football game last Friday (8-31). It cost an arm and a leg to get in. We went to watch Brian play, but he never got playing time. Nevertheless, LHS won by a landslide. Natalia loved being outside and all the excitement. I tried capturing how she would get excited at the game, but she would stop whenever the camera was pulled out. She's still dang cute anyhow.

With Daddy gone 14+ hours some days, we have more time to fill. Yesterday we walked to the cemetery and "read" under a tree. Mostly Natalia kept rolling around trying to get on the grass. She sure did love to pull on it. I don't know how many times I removed grass out of her hands. It was a fun outing. It is actually nicer to go walking in the evening because the sun in going down. I'm too tired to go walking before 8:30 when it is still cooler.

Well this week I started Natalia on a schedule/routine. She used to be on somewhat of a schedule before this month, but things got busy and chaos happened with Natalia's sleeping schedule. Last week was a rough week for naps if I remember correctly. Natalia hasn't been sleeping through the night probably since 4 months. I at least wanted her to get good naps during the day. All we needed was a schedule. Hooray. This is only Day 4 of starting our schedule, but things have been pretty consistent. Natalia naps every 4 hours for 2 hours in duration. Mommy is also on a schedule, but just with cleaning. I love, love, love schedules. I'm finally in control of each day instead of waiting in desperation for Josh to come home to give me a break. Natalia is a happy baby and I am SO SO happy she is getting sleep. Everything isn't perfect, but I figure once she gets a routine down, I may someday get some sleep and maybe she'll go down for the night before 1 without needing me for 4 hours. I can't sleep when she sleeps because she always seems to wake up when I try. I don't wake Josh to help me at night since he's hardly getting sleep staying up late doing homework. Anyway, my and Natalia's schedule is keeping me sane and not stressed during the day. Hooray, such a difference from last week. No more desperation, at least during the day.

Hello my love! This week went by really fast and Mommy is excited for a new week. Last week ended with an ER trip Sunday night when Daddy cut his hand while doing dishes. He was washing a glass and it broke in his hand. It was really bad. Your aunt Jenny came to the hospital to hold you while Daddy was getting stitched up. It was very nice of her. This week Mommy has been very tired so that is why I am looking forward to a new week. Mommy can't remember everything we did this week so I will just post pictures. I love you so very much!

Taken yesterday on our walk to a Mother-Daughter breakfast at the church. You are so cute! So many women commented on how cute you are.

Last night your Uncle Brent and Daddy assembled Daddy's new desk. Uncle Brent gave you this styrofoam stick. It was SO funny seeing wave it around like a light saber.

Taken tonight. We wanted a picture with the new babies in the family youngest to oldest. Amy, Tommy, and You. ha ha Amy and Tommy have similar poses. You were tired and not in the mood for pictures.
Taken 2 weeks ago when we visited your new cousin Amy in the hospital.

cute.

Hello my Baby Girl! We have had a busy couple weeks and a lot has happened since the last post. We stayed with your cousins for 12 days. You started rolling to your tummy. You started spitting with your tongue. You had your first taste of cereal at the Bernards', but you weren't much of a fan. You mimic some things daddy and I say. You turned 5 months and you are as cute as ever! Yesterday at Smith's a woman walked up just to play with you. Also, today in Relief Society a few women just kept looking over at us. I thought it was because we were noisy, but after church they oodled over you. You are growing so fast. Some people in church were surprised by how much you have grown. Mommy and Daddy love you so much!!! School is starting up soon so Daddy will be a little more busy. Mommy is just taking one class because learning is so much fun. Before I post the pictures I just want to tell you "I love you, I love you, I love you!"
We drew pictures of everyone

Went for walk to the park

Sitting in the van being sheltered from the downpour at Abby's game
Playing with your toy in your playard.

Such a happy baby eating cereal on your 5 month birthday.

I was trying to get a still picture of you, but you sure do love to move, move, move.
I could just eat you up my chunka bebe

Most of it ended up on your face or bib.

You new brother! ha ha Just kidding. Holding your cousin Tommy at the Siddoway reunion.
You rolled over

Playin' with your toes.

You are too cute.
