Natalia, here is a video of you while we were in the parking lot at Target. I had just changed you in my lap. Your mom's got skills, I know. Your daddy just got back from buying mommy some Tums because eating bell peppers on an empty stomach makes her feel very sick. Mmm, the Tums tasted like Tic Tacs.

Natalia, your 10 week birthday was a success. We celebrated by going to Barnes & Noble and looking at books for you. Your mom felt very ill and thought she was going to throw up so we left. You were also getting hungry so that's why we really left. We hung out in the car while Daddy bought some medicine for Mommy. They weren't too bad. Daddy wanted to eat them like candy, whatever that is. Anyway, while we were in the parking lot, seagulls started to surround our car. Those silly birds. It was a funny sight.

After you ate we went to Iceburg in Syracuse where Daddy got some fries and a shake with a year+ old gift certificate Mommy won in a race last year. The fries and shake smelled and looked good, but your mommy didn't even have one bite! Mommy was turning into Starvin' Marvin so we went to G-Sampson's home where Mommy had some WW pasta and sauteed zucchini. It was so good. It sure is nice of them to have food we can eat. Your grandma was so happy to see you so we hung out and watched a little of Avatar. It was getting late though so we went home. Oh yeah, before Barnes & Noble we went to Kid-to-Kid and got you some cool things with a coupon we had. Also, while at G-Sampson's house we decided to have a Memorial Day breakfast on Monday. We'll be getting there early to try out a new recipe tomorrow.  Let's hope it turns out okay.

Natalia, Monday is Memorial Day. Memorial Day is a day we take time to remember those who have fought and died for our country. We are so blessed to live in the United States of America, so blessed Baby Girl. Even though we don't have any family members who have past away from war, or any that Mommy knows of, maybe we could remember those who have past away from war that we see at the cemetery. There are people buried there who fought and died as far back as WWI. We always feel a special feeling when we walk around the cemetery so I think we should think about those buried there.

You and Mommy walked around the cemetery just this last Friday. There were a lot of people there putting flowers on their loved ones' graves. Your mommy shed a few tears thinking about what those people who lost their loved one must be feeling. Even though we never knew their loved ones, let's be grateful for their service and lives.

Well Baby Girl, you and Daddy are napping right now so maybe I should try too. We love you!
