I'm doing it. Starting Monday I'm going back to my old prepregnancy eating habits which just basically means I'll be counting calories again, but I'll be more lenient. I just don't feel as well as I used to and I want to feel great again. I want to start working toward a more ideal weight. I'll also be increasing my physical activity. Of course I don't think I'll ever be back to as rigorous or intense as I used to be, at least not until I'm done breastfeeding, but that's okay. For weeks I have been wanting so badly to lift weights again. I might wait a couple more months before I start lifting a lot of weight just because I haven't been able to find sound information on how it affects milk supply, mainly my concern is working chest muscles. Doing circuit training everything balances out so if I work my back muscles then I work the chest muscles. I'll keep researching until I find a lot of good info. I also pulled out my hefty nutrition bible to see what it has to say about nutrition while lactating. I'm not eating terribly now, but I just need some constraints to not over eat when I finally do eat and to have a more regular eating schedule. From what I've read so far I should be good on about 1500 to 1800 calories a day. Before I really start working out, I'll work on my diet for a couple weeks so I can take on one thing at a time. I don't like feeling fat and if I start being proactive about how I feel, then I'll feel better about myself. I think I'll use this blog as somewhere to list my goals, but I'm not sure yet. One of my long term goals is to weigh between 110 and 112 pounds. This is more than I weighed prepregnancy and Josh doesn't want me to weigh what I weighed prepregnancy, so 110 it is.

So enough about that. The first couple weeks home from the hospital I got tired of being 'cooped up' all the time. Now that we are back to 'work,' I love being home. It was a lot to handle so I'm only going twice a week which is nice. Today I've been tackling laundry between feedings. I've been keeping track of feedings and sometimes they are an hour apart. I don't mind because Natalia is sleeping really well through the night.

Natalia is so cute. She's making more and more cute noises and smiling more. She's also making more eye contact. I absolutely love the little noises she makes. Another thing I love is when it sounds lime she's giving an actual response. It's funny, sometimes when we ask her questions it sounds like she responds by saying uh-huh or nuh-uh. Well that's it. Bye.
