Today Natalia was blessed. For me, it felt like a momentous event. It was hard not to get choked up seeing all the men in the circle for the blessing. Becoming a parent has emphasized to me the real purpose why we are here on Earth, the importance of families, and how we are all sealed together. Witnessing the blessing today solidified that even more in my mind.
Here are the pictures from today:
| We are grateful for everyone who came for the blessing. This is one of my adopted family members and has always been so supportive. |
| Our home is not meant to fit so many people, but it worked out. |
| My favorite foods were the Multigrain chips with the hummus. I ate after everyone was gone since I was up feeding Natalia while everyone was getting food. I definitely overdosed on hummus today and am probably all hummused out for awhile. All I really ate today was mostly hummus, chips, an orange, and one and a quarter granola bars. I even had some donut holes...totally worth it. By the way, the Coombs came as well. We love them and everyone. They are another adopted family. So blessed. |

| Some of the men who were in the blessing circle, minus 2 I think. I wish my other brothers could've participated, but one is in Argentina and the other venturing to Florida for a summer job. |
| All the family who came by after the blessing, but this is not the whole family if that makes sense. |
| Another of my greatest supports growing up. |
| The grandparents plus great grandma. |
| This picture is classic. Josh's grandma has dementia so you know how that goes. In this picture she had commented on Natalia's complexion and asked where it came from. I walked up and Josh or his dad said it was from me. I think she also told me to keep my tan. It was a 'you had to be there' moment. |

| Cute. Our little family :) |
| Kate loves babies. |
| I love this. |
| Isn't she just the prettiest thing? |
| So cute. |
| Lookin' pretty good post-baby |
| These pictures are supposed to be rotated like she is sitting up. |

| So cute! The cute bracelet was a gift from Sarah and the headband came from the Coombs. You can't see the bracelet, but it's a cute flower Sarah made. The flower is worn as a bracelet at her blessing, in her hair on her baptism, and on the garter for her wedding. So sweet. We love the dress. We found it at Kid-to-Kid for $50.00. It's new. They have a little corner there with blessing dresses. She looks so adorable in it. My mom gifted the dress to us. So nice. The headband matched perfectly with the dress and bracelet. I can't get over how cute my baby girl is. She was so good during sacrament. She didn't cry once, pretty awesome for our second time going to church since her birth. We love you baby girl Natalia! Happy six weeks yesterday and happy blessing day! To make mention of your development, you are definitely smiling at us and others now. We love your smile. It is so contagious. You talk more and I LOVE hearing your voice. It is the cutest thing. I can't get enough of you. You are so adorable! We love you forever! |
